You only ever seem to hear complaints about travel insurance companies and that we're a bunch of cheating lying thieves. Well, we thought we'd open the lid on a little of what we do and tell it as it is from some of the people we have helped.
While horseback riding in New Zealand, we experienced riders had the opportunity to canter along towards the end of our ride. Being an experienced rider I jumped at the opportunity. However, an abrupt stop sent a shooting pain into my lower back leaving me unable to walk when we dismounted. I was taken to the nearest medical center and treated for the pain. After receiving prescription meds I returned the following day for more meds, some physio-therapy and crutches.
