You only ever seem to hear complaints about travel insurance companies and that we're a bunch of cheating lying thieves. Well, we thought we'd open the lid on a little of what we do and tell it as it is from some of the people we have helped.
After suffering repeated urinary tract infections, I sought further medical advice while travelling. The doctor I saw ran a urine test which revealed I had a major infection, causing me pain over my right kidney. The doctor provided me with referrals for ongoing treatment, IV antibiotics and further prescription medication.

On receipt of medical certificate from patient’s regular doctor, it was noted that urinary tract infections were a previously existing condition and thus excluded from cover.
