Travel insurance cover

The level of worldwide cover in our travel insurance recognises the needs of independent travellers who often travel for extended periods and do adventurous things. So there is cover for skiing and diving, rather than travel delays and missed connections.

Medical Expenses Incurred Overseas Medical, emergency dental, hospital and ambulance costs when agreed by us. Includes funeral expenses incurred overseas or repatriation of mortal remains.		Single: AUD $5,000,000 Family: AUD $10,000,000

Cancellation Costs Financial loss due to unforseen cancellation of prepaid travel and accommodation arrangements due to an insured event. Includes course fees not refunded as well as travel agency cancellation fees charged.		Single: AUD $10,000 Family: AUD $20,000

Medical Evacuation and Additional Expenses Medical evacuation home or to the nearest appropriate medical facility. Cover is also provided for reasonable additional travelling expenses (Economy Class) incurred by you for returning to your home earlier than planned due to accidental injury, serious illness, death of you, any person with whom you are intending to travel, or of an immediate relative of yours. Loss of Travel Documents Additional travel and accommodation costs if you lose your passport and you need to travel to the nearest passport issuing office.		Single: AUD $1,000 Family: AUD $1,000

Standard Luggage and Personal Effects Accidental loss, damage or theft of your luggage and personal effects. Includes emergency expenses if your luggage is delayed and losses that are incurred due to fraudulent use of lost or stolen credit cards and traveller’s cheques. Specified Luggage and Personal Effects (Optional Benefit) Increased cover for luggage and personal effects that you specify on your policy.		Single:

World Nomads Plus You can increase your limits for specified high value items by selecting World Nomads PLUS.This increases cover for these items up to a maximum of AUD $3,000 with a single item limit of AUD $1,000.
