Single Benefits

A summary of the benefits are set out below. Please read the policy wording carefully for full details and age limits of any accompanying children.

Trip Cancellation or Trip Interruption USD $5,000

This applies if your trip is canceled before you get started, or interrupted after you've left following a covered reason.
This can be for health, death, quarantine, transport and accommodation, legal, environment, canceled services, politics and violence, terrorism, work and U.S Armed Forces. Each of these has very specific requirements. Please refer to the Policy Wording for the full details

Emergency Medical / Dental USD $100,000

This applies if you have to pay for emergency medical or dental care for one of the following covered reasons:
- you have a sudden, unexpected illness or injury during your trip that's either life threatening or could cause serious and irreparable harm if it isn't treated
- you have an injury or infection, a lost filling or a broken tooth during your trip that requires immediate treatment by a dentist.

Emergency Medical Transportation USD $500,000

If our medical team and the doctor caring for you agree that a local care facility can't treat your injury or illness, we'll identify the nearest appropriate facility that can provide the care you need.
We'll only cover the cost of your emergency medical evacuation if we authorize and arrange:
- your transportation, and
- the medical escort (if you need one).

Travel Accident USD $10,000

This applies if you're in an accident during your trip that results in:
- your death
- total and permanent loss of sight in one or both of your eyes
- permanent loss of one or both of your hands or feet when they are severed at or above the wrist or ankle

Baggage Coverage USD $2,500

This applies if your baggage is lost, damaged or stolen while you're traveling. This benefit has specific requirements. Please refer to the Policy Wording for the full details.

Sporting Equipment Coverage USD $1,000

This applies if your sporting equipment is:
- lost or damaged by a common carrier
- stolen while you're travelling.
