After arrived in Rovaniemi, the first city above the Arctic Circle, best known as the "door" of the northern lights hunt, you already start to notice the heavy white snow in contrast within' the dark winter sky.

Going back to the south, on the Bothnya Gulf shores, Oulu city, near Sweden border gives you a totally different perspective, the daylight is changed by a totally white sky that mix with the Bothnya freezed waters, covered by a snow blanket that pulls your vision to the horizon without limits.
