Eric is a correspondent for Michelin Travel Guides, Alaska Airlines Beyond Magazine, Westways, Western Journey and is the author of the Michelin Alaska guide. His work concentrates on the meaning of travel and human culture, with special emphasis on sustainability and indigenous peoples. Eric has visited all 50 US states and 57 countries, including 40 in Europe. He lives on a small farm in the San Juan Islands where he grows organic garlic, beans, apples, and corn.
