After a brief stint in journalism and new media, Isabelle abandoned the nine-to-five to become a freelance editor. This has given her the freedom to nurture her creative aspirations, one of which was fulfilled when she won the 2019 World Nomads Travel Writing Scholarship.
As a South African-born Indian national living in Mozambique, Isabelle’s mind is always switched to wander mode, and she often binges on travel-related content for a healthy dose of escapism. She is currently on the lookout for her next getaway.
