John has lived inside America's National Parks for more than a decade, where he's logged over 150 hiking and kayaking trips. When he took off the ranger uniform, he donned his guiding gear and paddled about 4,000 miles leading expedition sea kayak trips in Southeast Alaska.
Since then he's enjoyed many years of leading groups on tours of North America's most interesting and captivating monuments to history and nature. He now runs an adventure travel business called Roadrunner Expeditions.
