Meet Julia Melancon
Translator and Language Teacher
Julia is a translator and language teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. She speaks French and Italian (plus a smattering of Spanish), and has danced her way through 44 countries. She loves watery places, old buildings, and trains. When her nose is not stuck in a book, she is forever plotting her next international caper. Educated at UC Berkeley, NYU, and La Sorbonne in Paris, she has worked at the United Nations and Stanford University.
