Meet Libby Baldwin

Libby is a writer, journalist, and a USCG-licensed captain. Born and raised in Florida, she fell in love with whales and the Pacific Northwest as a child and hopes to make her home there one day. She began traveling there alone in the summer of 2011 to deckhand on whale-watching boats, earning her captain’s license in 2018, and eschews comfortable year-round employment to share her passion for whales and ocean stewardship with guests from all over the world.
