Mark has written for BBC Wildlife, BBC Travel, CNN Travel, Telegraph, Conde Nast Traveller, The Boston Globe, The Globe & Mail, Esquire and National Geographic Traveler. His books have been published by Penguin Random House and National Geographic. His debut novel is Driftwood Chandeliers (set in a remote Balinese village). Kopi Dulu, about his 15,000km overland journey through Indonesia, was listed among Jakarta Post’s best books of 2022.
