Meet Marvi Gil
Writer
Marvi is a tropical transplant in the old, cold world. She has published poetry and short fiction in Iceland, the UK, and the Philippines. Working as a writer and editor for most of her life, she has in the last 10 years also worked as a nurse at the psych intensive care unit of Iceland's National University Hospital. Recently, she decided to move to Iceland´s northernmost town, Raufarhöfn (a village at the edge of the Arctic) where she has been appointed as Family Services Representative for the town.
