Matt started his love affair with travel after catching a one-way flight from Vancouver to Sydney in 2003. Whilst handing out flyers for a backpacker travel agency in exchange for free trips, he realised that a career in travel could be a good choice.
He now splits his time between managing a travel agency full-time, writing travel stories, and getting himself to the airport as much as possible. His top travel tips include: Following locals to the dirtiest eateries for authentic dishes, and boarding the plane last to nab an empty row.
