Meet Siska Nirmala
Siska Nirmala is an Indonesian journalist based in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. She's also an adventure enthusiast who enjoys backpacking, hiking and climbing.
Her anxiety about the trash problem in Indonesia inspired her to adopt a zero waste lifestyle in 2012. She also made an individual expedition called Ekspedisi Nol Sampah (Zero Waste Expedition) to five mountains in Indonesia (2013-2015), which she then wrote a book about, Zero Waste Adventure, published in May 2017.
