Yasmin attributes her love of travel to growing up in a Finnish and Pakistani family in Toronto, where exposure to many different cultures left her wanting to learn more. She has lived and worked in the Middle East and Canada. She is drawn by the unexpected, whether it’s being pulled into a group photo by friendly Uyghurs, getting caught in a hailstorm in Bol, or walking through the streets of Edinburgh for Hogmanay. Her goal is to do a cartwheel in as many new places as possible.
