Meet Parinaz Bilimoria

Brand Programs & Community Manager

I was born in Sydney to Parsi migrants from India who shared with me their love for adventure and travel. I’ve studied in Prague for a summer and learnt the basics of filmmaking during an internship in Mumbai. After graduating from university, I set off on an adventure to explore Northern India and Nepal. That’s when I came to the realization that I was; a) happiest when swapping stories with fellow travelers and b) running out of money – so I decided to apply for a job at World Nomads.

I’m currently the Brand Programs and Community Manager at World Nomads. I oversee the strategic direction of our Travel Scholarship Program and Responsible Travel initiatives, and strive to better understand our tribe of World Nomads in order to support their needs. I also manage our non-profit; The Footprints Network – which has raised over $5M for community development projects around the world.

I travel to challenge myself and my understanding of the world. My most memorable adventure was my first multi-day hiking experience. Instead of opting to start with a 2 or 3-day hike I decided to do a 17-day trek through the mountains of the Everest region. Since then, I’ve hiked the W-trek in Chile, the Routeburn trek in New Zealand and most recently reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. While I love being out in the wild, it’s the people you meet along the way that make these experiences all the more special.
