How long does it take to resolve my claim?
The speed that your claim is proceesed depends on:
When it comes to claims related to trip cancellation or baggage, it should only take about 15 days for you to hear back from us as long as you have sent all the supporting documentation. If you are submitting a claim for a medical emergency, the processing time will vary depending on the type of emergency and what documentation is required. To ensure the shortest possible turnaround, please be sure to provide all the information requested on the claim form; send in original bills / invoices; and review your claim form to see if you've completed each section. If the case manager has to make requests for additional information or documents, it will prolong the time to assess your claim.
Please be patient as the claims department works to resolve your claim. They want to review each claim in detail so that nothing is missed. For tips on how to handle claims, read our articles on How to make a claim and the What to do section.
My wife and I got very ill while traveling in the UAE and required medical attention. The whole process was very straightforward and we were extremely happy with the service and the outcome.
