Bitten by a tick in Colombia

I was bitten by a tick in the Sierra Nevada region in Colombia and infected by borrelia (a bacterial disease). A doctor examined me and I was treated for borreliose with antibiotics and probiotics. However the symptoms of brain fog and dizziness persisted making it unsafe for me to continue to travel, so the emergency assistance team organised medical repatriation to fly me home to Norway.
