They gather every night to cut and paste the China paper for about 6 months.  It is a delicate chore as they can only use natural glue.

To elevate the giant kite is as important as the manual craft, as it can break during this stage.  Bamboo is used to build a support for the kite.  Then is carefully lifted by around 10 to 15 men using ropes.
