The hot Arabian Desert sand slowly overtakes one of many homes in this abandoned village. Although abandoned it is not forgotten, as evidenced by traces of ongoing human activity and items left behind.

Perhaps the occupants who put up wallpaper of a lush landscape was their means of escape from the reality of being surrounded by arid desert. The wallpaper will continue to fade as nature eventually reclaims what we forget and leave behind.
