I took a leap into the unknown by travelling alone to a country well known for its beauty and splendour. The above line sums up pretty much my travel experience but let me say a bit more, travelling alone was a new experience, and more so, was the fact that I travelled to a country I have never been before, didn't know what to expect except for those things I saw on social media and travel vlogs. but those things only show certain places and foods, it leaves a lot to think about, the local streets, crowds and opportunities. that left me with a big sense of unknown obstacles and wonders I needed to see for myself in this new place. The best part of my journey to Bali was not the destinations I ventured to, like the beaches and temples that I visited, which in its own right was very appealing and wonderful to see. However, for me, the best part was the travelling, travelling through the towns, fishing villages or even driving peak time through hectic traffic, I live for those type of adventures. One of my fondest memories of Bali is driving one late afternoon through the town, with overcast weather, hot and humid conditions while driving my motorbike and the raindrops just heating on my chest while cooling me down. Another big focal point for me was the beauty on the craftmanship in the design of their temples and statues, the hours put in to those detailing was amazing and really something to think about. they are so in love with their statue making, that their are at any given location a statue there in the middle of the road. All in all, the trip was wonderful, scary, unique compared to all my travels and most of the time a pleasure to be in. I would definitely go there again, even if just for a day to experience the sensation of Bali.
