My travel experience is as follows: 1. Ghana 19/6/2015 2. Uganda 28/8/2015 The little time I spent in Ghana was short of happy moment, but full of surprise and loss. Short of Happy Moment: I and my colleague were full of excitement the day we left Lagos State on a journey to start a new phase of life in Ghana at Spiritan College, Ejisu, Ghana. We had chats with some Nigerians we met in Ghana and assured them that we're there for studies. Some of them were very happy, however, some were concerned to know how we came. After explaining to them how we came to the school one of them said that he's advising us to go back to Nigeria and come back on our own for studies that we've been coned under religious disguise. What he said got me thinking and I lost energy. Surprise: On the day of our arrival into the college, we were received by Rev. Fr. Kosikojo K.K. of Holy Ghost Fathers Ghana. Fr. K.K made us to understand that our names are not in their list and as a result, we should go back to our country or inform our director to call the school. We passed the information to the director but he told us to sort ourselves out since we're already in Ghana. Fr. K.K called the school Rector Fr. Julius to inquire whether he knew of our coming. Fr. Julius said no and asked him to tell us to go back to Nigeria that whoever sent us to the school is a fraudster as they didn't make any arrangement with him to send any candidate to Spiritan College, Ghana. Going back to Nigeria, I approached our superior with my colleague and told him what Fr. Julius said when he spoke to us through Fr. K.K's phone. On hearing that, he asked me to see him in his room with my colleague. He asked us not to tell anybody what happened and promised to sponsor us to any level of education but we disagreed with him. He promised to right his wrong and traveled to Uganda that he was called upon by Bishop John The Baptist of Masaka Diocese, Uganda in July. On his returned, he assured us that things has been put in order that we're leaving Nigeria for our studies in Uganda on 28/8/2015. To me, it wasn't a good news to me since after what I went through in Ghana. On the 1st of August, 2015, he gave us our admittion letter which states that we're supposed to report at the college on 28/8/2015. We left Lagos on 27/8/2015 and arrived Entebbe international airport on 28/8/2015. After spending some weeks at school without hearing from our superior and no message has ever reached us through the bishop, I decided to reach out to the bishop. On the day of my appointment with him, he told me that he was not informed by anybody about our coming to study in Uganda and that he didn't advice our superior to send anybody to come and study in Uganda neither did he promise or make any agreement with him to be the principal bishop of the congregation, however; he said that we should do the needful by reporting the congregation to Catholic Bishop Conference of Nigeria. Loss: All my trip from Nigeria to Ghana and Uganda was catered for by my family (parents). Before leaving Nigeria for Uganda, we were told by the superior that everything will be catered for by the bishop once we're in Uganda which was a total lie from the pit of hell. He deceived other brothers by collecting money from them and using us as a prove that he's not fake. I reacted when I heard about the false information he was circulating with our names that he's sponsoring our education. I didn't just lost money but time and opportunities.
