A great progress in my fears

I didn't expect to find Australia

I was researching travel grants to explore more of the world, which has always been my dream. When I received an email from australia scholarships telling me I'd won a scholarship, I've never been so happy in my life. The day I travelled, I was very excited and nervous, after all that was my first time traveling by plane. Arriving at the house in Sydney where I was going to stay I met many interesting people and learned about different cultures than mine in brazil. The fourth day of my stay is what I feared most. I was getting ready for bed when I went to raise the bed sheet, a big hairy spider ready to attack me. I don't think I've ever screamed so much in my life. With fear in my voice the spider hid but thank god the house residents came quickly to my rescue, getting the spider out of there. I really didn't expect to find a spider in my bed but in the end it all worked out, this is an experience that I'm going to take for life. I wrote this fictitious story to prove if my writing is really convincing. Please, I can't afford to pay the travel costs, so I never travelled in my life but, I hope to get this scholarship, thank you.
