A leap into the unknown Tanzania

In December 2019 i started my travel alone into different parts of Tanzania to explore the beauty and find myself. Took a boat from the harbors of Dar es Salaam on which i had 1:30 hours of pleasure I cannot explain. The ocean tides were not so strong but created strong winds that made it it beautiful. It was my first time to Zanzibar and i knew no one, by the boat i took some selfies and recorded some videos not to miss a moment i had. I asked a guy to take me more photos but also asked more about the place and if he would help me around. The accepted on assisting the next day, after an hour and a half we were at the shores of Zanzibar and as beautiful as the land was I couldn’t have wished for more. I directly started my tour around that beautiful island went through streets. Later in the evening i found a hotel and refreshed up preparing for the evening adventure. The place is full of travelers, adventurous and intimidating. Went to the sea shores at night a place called Forodhani were you would eat all the edible things the sea would offer, after which i left to sleep for the next day. Walk early next day and left to meet my local friend i met in the boat. Then we sailed to another island known as Prison Island where the water was so blue, the air was so fresh and the birds were so clear. Had a tour of the island and left back for lunch and my journey back to Dar es Salaam. After 2 days i left for Tanga from Dar es Salaam, took a bus to Muheza and then climbed the mountain to Magoroto forest. The adventure was real as the road was steep and slippery and one side of the road were a hill and another side was a deep valley. The car would move up forwad and back. Then we arrived at the camping site and never regretted the hustle it took us to reach that natural beautiful place. The place is a forest with a very fresh air. The camps are positioned surrounding a cool water lake. I washed up and joined the others who were there for dinner and some good jazz. We danced, sang karioke and had story telling sessions with a few drinks. Then went to rest in a very quiet environment and relaxing. The area has no communication network at all so it was all quiet and beautiful. In the morning i went for a swim in the lake which had calm and a smell of the earth water. After which we had breakfast and left for hiking in the wonder forest. The hiking was very adventurous as it was too slippery that others would fall others would end their journey so soon and others like me went to the end where we found water falls which was beautiful and refreshing not to regret the hiking difficulties. I enjoyed the water as it poured from far above flowing down the mountain. It’s sound was refreshing and it’s taste was of nature. We then had our way down the mountain back to the camping site where we had lunch, went for swimming again and played cards. We had drinks as the rain was pouring so strong as we sang along and laughed. In the evening we had dinner and played different games such as truth or dare which made our night so alive that we slept at dawn. We left on the next day after having breakfast and beautiful memorable photos. My journey back to Dar es salaam was tiring as it was the holiday season so I couldn’t get a straight way bus. Had to take min buses to a short distance and connect. I went back very new and refreshed ready for a start of a new year. In all this days i was away from the life i was living i realized my dreams more clearly and what mattered more in my life. In the end i Found Myself.
