A leap

I didn't expect to find South Africa

I close my eyes, basking in the sweet sound of silence, I am alone, I am at peace. I leapt into the unknown . The undiscovered corners of my imagination and just like that I ventured out into a world so vast. Clear blue seas, clear enough to see the depth of my soul in the reflection, waters this clear, must be the tears of an angel. Further in I allowed my mind to flow this time around I found myself in an even more foreign land, with the sun hitting my skin, I felt it awaken a fire so deep within, I have never been more alive I thought to myself. I see myself walking down a path, birds singing sweet melodies that ripen and tantalize my ears, never have heard such comforting tunes, I allow them to lead me. I'm drawn to them, I feel the roughness of the ground , I feel the soft breeze that caresses me, never have I ever felt such peace. I keep walking and walking until I snapped back to reality, I open my eyes to find that I'm still in my room, still in my space. I've traveled to the depths of the world without moving an inch. I didn't expect to find the power that lives within Now to live it Feel it Be it. A traveler of the mind.
