As a single mother, leaving my son to travel always seemed to be possible yet I didn’t map it out. I always knew I would be able to travel even with all of my circumstances. First trip, out of state, with a friend I met two months before our trip to Los Angeles, California. I felt inspired, guided and free. We stayed in an outstanding Airbnb with at least 12 other people in individual rooms. Everything felt so right from the time we step foot in the door all the way until the last day. Everything we ever imagine was there for us, from sage to crystals and even little succulent plants in the windows. Our rooms were so clean and private as if our very own family members had made the bed and left a gift. It was meant to be. On the first day, we took a trip to Hollywood blvd which turned out to be extremely busy. The city was so alive that I felt like I could be up forever. I thought the night would end by going to a night club but no, here we go finding ourselves at an Egyptian store. There was so many different posters, and crystals. Again, extremely what we already knew of. This time I thought I didn’t need anything until I seen a crystal in the form of a dice. I had questions, about our history, and how what we have been told to be a myth, was actually the truth. Our history being totally different than Egyptian history. How people understand the power of knowledge. I learned that even when you don’t expect something it doesn’t mean you don’t deserve greatness. The stone was “the onyx” which is known to gives so much will power and great wealth. I felt like I won the lottery. At this point I was ready to leave. To my surprise our Lyft driver was from my home town and it was almost like a celebration when we got in the car because he played our home town music in a place away from home. We get eventually get to our place, and I get out the car glowing, smiling and my friend seen a look she’s never seen before. Pureness. Joy. Authenticity. My ancestors, our ancestors showed us that we are gifted and ready to receive all that their is in this universe. Going to Los Angeles for a complete modeling gig, turned into a healing journey in the city of Angels. We healed our inner child and enjoyed the rest of the messages that were there for all three complete days. Going to an unfamiliar place has to be out of boldness. Nobody can have fear when traveling because you are what you attract. It is best to travel and find out what is out there waiting for you!
