This is the travel story of my trip to Jaisalmer with my friends. We travelled from Delhi to Jodhpur which took around 12 hours to reach and then from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer which took us another 5:30 hours to reach via bus. We reached our hostel moustache around 2:00 PM. We ate their special thali which included rotis, dal baati churma, raita, dal, mix vegetable and pickle. It was amazing. After that , we planned to explore The Great Jaisalmer Fort. It is the only living fort in India as of now. When we were exploring it, we found out that it has hotels build inside it. Very classic hotels made with the Rajasthani theme. The lanes were crowded with the handmade crafted miniatures. The fort was fully lit. We had our dinner in the fort itself in a cafe which had an amazing sunset view. We clicked pictures which can make anyone crave to visit that place in real. We made friends in that cafe and then together we planned to visit Gadisar lake. At night around 10 PM we went to Gadisar lake and experienced the beautiful night view of the lake. Even though night boating is not allowed there but you can make them convince for one round and I am sure you wont regret it. It was really peaceful. Then we returned to our hostel around 12:30 AM. Next morning we had to go to Sam Sand Dunes. Which was around 40 kms from the main city. We had already booked our camps at karni camp site. We started our travel via Auto Rickshaw around 1 PM and reached our camps around 3 PM. As soon as we reached there , the manager of our camp put tika on our forheads and we were welcomed by the soft drink. Then he told us to go desert safari. We saw our Jeep waiting for us. We had an amazing jeep desert Safari. After an hour or so, our jeep safari ended and we were back at our camp again. We saw our camels waiting for us. We climbed up to our camels and went on for our camel safari. Which was again an amazing experience. Watching sunset sitting on a camel was different feeling. I actually relived those moments. The cool breeze making my hair go wild in all directions. The light rays of Sun on my face at the golden hour making me look yellow. All the shades of colours in the sky. It was beautiful. After sunset, we headed back to our camps. Our camp's common area was arranged in such a way that the borne fire was in the centre and mattresses were put around it. Soon we took our seats and Rajasthani folk dance began. It was started with the very famous song 'Padharo Mhaare desh me'. Were were served with peanuts and pakodas while enjoying the Rajasthani folk show. After the show was over, the Dj night began. We danced our hearts out for an hour or so. No doubt , the chill breeze were making it difficult for us to keep ourselves warm but after dance we were all sweaty and it didnt feel cold anymore. Around 10 PM our friends which we made at cafe , the previous day , called us for a night desert safari. They came outside our camp in a safari and we went for a night desert safari. Our jeep got crashed in the middle of somewhere. After numerous tries we were able to make it alright. We saw a borne fire very far from our sight. By now we lost our ways and we were searching for an exit. We went to that borne fire place and saw people of our age who were also tourists. They told us this a cafe (a little hut beside the borne fire ) and you can have maggi and tea here. We ordered our food. And sat under the sky full of stars. Only sand around us. And the cool breeze. We all laid down around the borne fire and saw some shooting stars and Seriously, it was beautiful. I can never forget the night I spent under shooting stars. It was beautiful.
