Making a local connection Zambia

In the year 2018, I decided to take a break from my busy schedule and go on a short trip to one of Zambia's nine provinces. I picked "KASAMA" on the Northern province of Zambia, because I had heard about the scenery and many adventures that I could discover there. I started off and took a bus because I believe the only real way to discover the beauty of a place is by road so you can have a perfect view of each part of the journey. On my first day in Kasama, I went to the museum so I could learn about the heritage of this town and one of the many things I discovered was that during the second world war some troops fleed Russia and camped in this town until the end of the war. Another was that the province was a mother to two joined water falls and also that the heart of David Livingstone was actually buried in that same province, it was after all of that I learnt and saw at the museum that I gained a keen interest to go on an adventure ride and visit every site that I could and the first was 1. THE CHISHIMBA WATER FALLS; I found a perfect guide that could speak their language and we took a ride down to the spectacular falls, when we got there I saw how gorgeous the water looked and that thundering sound of the water falling was mesmerizing it was as though I was no longer in Zambia, everywhere I turned and looked were these tall trees and every tree there had its name and origin labeled on it, I was so amused by what I had seen. 2. The second trip I decided to take was to a Beach, YES!! A beach Zambia has a beach it's called "Samfya Beach" just on the shores of the lake Bangweulu, lays this beautiful sandy beach it a spectacular view and just along the beach there is this beautiful hotel were I sat and I drunk my cocktail while looking at how much fun people were having playing with the sand and water. 3. My third and final trip was to visit the site where the heart of the famous David Livingstone was buried, I also visited the house that is known to have been the place where he lived during his illness and was actually found dead in. And on the last day I walked around the town and realized how richly blessed my country was, and how important it was to take time off to travel and discover, indeed that trip was worth all the time taken off.
