It was a summers day, birds flying in the sky. I was enjoying my self, but i was nervous,why?, it was my first time on a boat. I've always loved the ocean , something about it intrigues me, and I'm inlove with its colour. I must say, that trip was one to remember, we talk about it every chance we get. It was me and my four friends, we are a loud, musicall squad. One of them had started playing the gitture when this family of four came towards us, my friend can sure play, and us?,we would sing. We mostly sing about love, so did we that day. We sang a song with a chorus and just one verse " Love so pure, i could feel in my heart, if you're not the one for me, atleast let me spend a night in your heart" the chorus said, not to blow my own horn but i can sing, so I'd always sing the one verse, " She loves like Angel" that time two families were now wacthing us, " She's so beautiful wish i can make her my wife" right after those second lines of the verse, i saw one mother pulling her family away from us, the father wasn't so pleased with that because we could see them arguing , " we have one in our family, or have you forgotten?" we heard him say. Whilst they were still at it their eleven years daughters came to us " Do you kiss girls?" in shock, none of us responded, " My cousin kisses girls too, and i love her, she's my best friend". The mother saw that she was talking to us and came to get her, the father followed and he said " You are beautiful and talented young girls, and as long as you're not singing about getting high nd selling drugs but singing about love, consider me as your number one fan".Weirdly that scene made me more scared to be on the boat, but we had promised our selves to have fun on the trip and that is was we were going to do. I had told them about how i want to stand in the front of the boat like Jack and Rose on the movie The Titanic, they made a joke about how only for me it'll be Rose and Rose, we love making jokes. I was taking time walking slowly to the front, with my legs starting to shake when i heard her say " Dont be afraid i got you". You could see it in her eyes that the ocean is her happy place, little did i know she was about to become mine. There we were Rose and Rose standing in front of the boat,i wanted to turn to my friends and say "who's laughing now?.She was as beautiful as the ocean itself. She carried a pink bag my eyes sworn they've seen in before, " I love your bag" i mean it was beatifull and i just wanted to start a conversation, she told me it belonged to her little cousin whom too was is this boat, "the eleven year old girl" i remembered. " She did say she met you guys, and i have a confession to make, I've been meaning to come talk to you but was scared, see the thing is..." and before she could finish the mother came our way, my friends tried hiding us but it was too late. There was something about her, and most definitely something about us. We spent the whole trip looking for her, i mean how hard could it be finding someone in a boat, not as hard as we had it though. Just when i thought I'd never see her again, i reached into my pocket in which she left a peace of paper written,"if you're not the one for me atleast let me spend a night in your heart" a line from our song, on the back she wrote her number. From that point on all i wanted to do was call her, but i decided to enjoy the last hours of the trip with my friends and would wait for tomorrow to TAKE A LEAP INTO THE UNKNOWN.
