A leap into the unknown Turkey

When I decided to travel, I had no idea about the places I'm going to visit, the people I'm going to meet, and the things I will experience. However, I was very determined to go for that experience despite the fear of the unknown especially that it was my very first time traveling abroad. Everything started the moment I packed my clothes and stepped out of my comfort zone. I was super excited to be on plane for the first time and couldn’t believe that I was making it to Turkey. When I arrived at the airport there was a private driver waiting for me to take me to my hotel. and I enjoyed looking from the car's window at the beautiful buildings and the soft lights of the city. and despite the tiredness of the flights I was all smiling to the beautiful experience. The next day, I was amazed to wake up at a new and a totally different country. it was the most enjoyable morning I had for so long. Moreover, I managed to make new friendships with Turkish people from the very first day and I can say that I had so much to learn from them. However, they were very friendly that I felt like home with them. I had a healthy connection with everyone there, and a successful cultural exchange, and my travel experience taught me that I can do things which I never thought I’m capable of doing. In addition, it enabled me to discover myself, my strengths and how far I can go. Getting to know new people in a foreign country is a sacred experience for me. and it made me feel connected not only to those people but also, I felt connected to the world. When we travel, we never know what we might face, encounter or experience and that’s the best thing about traveling, because we get to discover new things by ourselves , and get to know new people with different backgrounds, nationalities, and beliefs but still can understand each other in a perfect way. Travel made me discover my hidden powers and qualities. Because staying in one place for so long make us think that we are ungifted and unworthy. But, thanks to traveling individuals can refresh their knowledge and know new things about the world and particularly about themselves.
