A few years ago I decided to know the altiplanic zone of my city, La Paz, ubicated in Bolivia, though I exactly didn't know where to go, so I drove my Niva by hours, passed for many villages, suddenly I saw a wee road in the highway, that could be a shortcut, felt a little curiosity. so I quickly turned the steering wheel to get in that way and right now I can say that this decision was the best. Without knowing it, I entered in a village called Ulloma, ubicated behind the snow-capped mountain Anahuajcha, definitely is a wonderful and majestic place. In the middle of field there were many vicuñas, llamas and alpacas, they wore a beatiful colored ribbons, some ate grass and others drank water from a wee lagoon. After a while, I decided to get off the car, I walked for a few minutes and i met a kind woman, she offered me a shelter, because it was getting very cold and it was already getting dark. Her home was cozy and she lived alone there and while was igniting her anafre she told me some local stories and legends very interesting, I remember mentioned the legend of the Kari Kari, it's about a priest that by black magic hypnotizes people and pulls fat out of them, and this can even cause death. Being honest I felt a little scared. While we was talking we ate meat accompanied by rice with potato and chuño, that was very delicious! litlle by little the light disappeared along with the candle.
