A leap into the unknown Bulgaria

To get out of this loop- hole, this toxic circle we call routine, is never easy. They always say to "get out of your comfort zone" like it was so simple to just do it. Rutine is like an addiction. You do it every day until eventually you die and nothing has changed. But you feal like you have to do it to keep living. Trust me, to be sober becomes the adventure of a lifetime. Here is what you have to do to get clean from your comfort zone. Firstly you find an "escape from reality" near you. Mine was this place where two rivers meet. I would go there when I'm feeling down and just watch wild ducks for hours. Secondly, you go somewhere with your friends or family. I went to Sofia with two of my best friends. It was a shopping trip but we told our tour guide we wanted to explore the city by ourselves. For 5 hours we were wandering the streets of Bulgaria. We met this gypsy that does stand-up comedy that steals your money. Literally. She tells you a joke and steals your wallet. Thankfully we were broke so she just gave us back our wallets. We call her "Baby". Thirdly, you go somewhere with people you know less but feel comfortable with. School trip is perfect for that. As a person that I am I didn't have many friends in high school but I still decide to go on a seven day field trip to Italy. I mean it was Italy, come on! There I can say I had a time of my life. I met some people, I made friends, really great friends. I saw Rome: this alive museum, Florance: the home of Michelangelo, my favourite artist, and Venice that doesn't smell bad as they always say. And lastly: Go somewhere by yourself. For this I thought Caribbean islands would be perfect? I don't know, you decide...
