I was only young when I traveled to Tunisia but I loved it all the same, we went on a camel ride in the desert and got to learn that camels like to drink coca cola straight from the bottle and getting up on the camel was quite interesting they would literally throw you up and you had to catch the handrail before you fell off the other side it was exhilarating. The tour guides were so friendly and when I asked about the camels names they told me they named them after their favourite people the one I was riding was called madonna, there was another called bono and so on they even played the music the camels were named after and the camels almost looked like they were dancing to it. We got half way into the journey and into the middle of the desert and we saw a little cafe and gift shop not what you would expect to find in the middle of the desert haha. We got to see how they made there traditional clay drums and sand art in a glass jar it was amazingly beautiful, a bit later on we got to kiss a camel yup kiss a camel or that's how they made it look we had to put a little bit of cactus in our lips just holding it up straight for the camel and they would come and snatch it straight out of your mouth. It was by far one of my most memorable and favourite trips I have ever taken and one I shall never forget.
