Adventure in the island.

I didn't expect to find Iceland

Two years ago I rented a car with three friends for to explore the north of Iceland. We spent two weeks and I had the most adventure of my life. We visited the Blue Lagoon SPA, the black sand beach, the Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón but the big adveture was when we tried to see the aurora borealis. Our car got stuck in the middle of the road due to some hurricane and we had to call to the car insurance We were all desperate, we even prayed together, we were all alone at the middle of the road and it was getting very cold inside the car too. After waiting for almost 40 minutes the insurance came to save us they came and helped us to leave that place. After this we quieted to try to see the aurora borealis and came to explore other places. We stayed in the beautiful and luxurious hostel that night, and when I woke up my body wasscratched due to some bed bugs Then I tried to contact my travel insurance to check about an appointment with some doctor. But they informed me they wouldnt cover such thing I had spent a lot of money with the car thing and I basically didnt have any money left. It made me so upset and had to come back to the hostel to wait for my flight to Latvian. Anyway I loved to have visited Iceland, it was my 1st travel with my friends, we even got to see the native horses they have there, and some beautiful places as: the black sand beach, geysers, we ate famous hot dog, and I could learn that unexpected things can happen when we are traveling and get to know myself better. I hope to come back to Iceland, but when its spring. I would say, traveling change our minds about everything, how to be patient and calm. I never thought I would live this, but I loved the experience.
