What is traveling? How far must one vacate their current location to travel? When and where is the minimum distance set? I believe "to travel" or to move is to Live! As long as one is alive, one may appear still, But there will be parts of the body always traveling around and through it self. Thoughts Traveling within YOUR magnificent mind. Life is a journey. Exploring to digesting the wonderful vibrations gifted we all travel constantly through time. I personally Love it!! My name is Jacob Hudecki. I have the pleasure of holding many different names and knowing a lot of different people all around this beautiful planet who know me by these names and there is a story to tell about each of them. I am a story. As a 28 year old Swiss-Canadian born in London Ontario I consider my self to be very lucky. I have a wonderful family full of love. Both my nations are very comfortable and hold high standards for living. I didn't try too hard nor did I have a direction in life growing up. What I did do was try everything and go with the flow while thinking positively and expressing love! Man did that ever work! My whole life was set up for me to become an adventurer. I have family all over Southern Ontario that we would visit. My grand parents owned an old schoolhouse up in Bruce county. Early on my father would take me on "Adventures". We would go to all sorts of places from parks to train yards. My Dad even followed emergency vehicles to scenes to educate my brother sister and I on all aspects of life. My mother traveled from Switzerland to be with my Father. She had us back home a few times while young but we soon couldn't afford the trips. In high school I started playing bass in a punk band. This opened the car door to my good O'l pal Raod Trip! Since then I have had many road trips. Our family front door to Cape Breton Nova Scotia, New York city, Atlanta Georgia and all in between. I have also driven from Vancouver to Kelowna, Calgary to Banf and Switzerland to many parts of Europe. Mostly between Switzerland and Slovakia where some of my other family lives. It doesn't stop there. I have also found my self riding bikes down the coast of Vietnam, Hitch hiking in Malaysia and riding with a tourist driver through Rajasthan India. The turning point in my life so far was in 2015 when one of my best friends Darcy convinced me to quit my job and go back packing through South East Asia with him that following February. I remember all the agony that arose while leaving my job and preparing to walk away from "my routine". Boy it was scary. Little did I realize the "scary" had not even begun. Have you ever sat on a seat in a vehicle for the two hour trip to Toronto from London? While I have many times. But this time was like no other. This particular trip My buddy Darcy and I were sitting apart. Only two seats available that morning, on our little Robert Q bus, in early February 2016. One at the front and one at the back. It was a long time for thoughts to swoop in from all angles and arise. Over and over again I remember thinking, "Is this real? Am I really leaving home for two and a half months with no real plans only guide lines! Mom I want to come home and I haven't even made it to Toronto yet." That was still nothing. we had a plane ride to Japan with many more opportunities for the mind and conscience to discuss why this was a bad idea. Still though, I was oblivious to the big shadow about to creep in and steal my sunshine. It gives me strength now to recall the vibes chilling through my self the first few hours of my new life as a traveler. The fear and uneasiness I experienced riding the first subway trains and finding our first place to stay was so overwhelming. It all needed to happen! Within hours that first night I opened up and felt truly alive! I don't want to explain that feeling. It is something that every body must experience on their own in their own way. Since my first Adventure to Asia I have been back three times. I revisited my family and friends in Europe and I now spend three months out of the year there. I treat everything like and adventure and I travel as much as possible. If you would like to hear more of my many stories. I hope to talk soon! Thanks a lot Jake Hudecki!
