An adventurous and petrifying visit to the Skyland It was a snowy day in the month of December, a girl named Leah won a lottery ticket to an unusual place called “The Skyland”. She was given an offer to have an exceptional start in her career with a clause that she must permanently leave her hometown (Fairydom). Taking advantage of this opportunity, she decided to move to Skyland in the very next year which was against the advice of her sister (Ish). As time was passing on, her sister was getting an intuition that something is wrong with the lottery visit. Ish tried to convince Leah to not to visit The Skyland as she could sense that the offer was fishy, but Leah was in her own dream world and pay no heed to her sister’s advice. On 1st January, Leah left for Skyland via flying driverless luxurious Tesla car at 8:00 pm. She had an amazing journey whereby she discovered the shimmering moon, twinkling stars, wavy clouds and quirky birds. She got an hour halt in a royal star named Regulus. She was enjoying every minute of her life but at the same time, she was missing her family and wished that they would have understood her. When she was heading towards the flying car, she discovered that the flying car was converted into a flying dragon. Taking a deep breath, she held her talisman and got the courage to sit on the flying dragon. To her good luck, the flying dragon was harmless, but she experienced a weirdo ride with the Draco. Instead of taking Leah to the Skyland, it took her to the Witchland. Perplexed and helpless Leah fainted over the compact deck. Returning to her consciousness, Leah found herself being captured by the witches who were having their dinner ready with the human flesh on the plates and bottles of blood samples. The witches greeted her, Hezlo Leah! Today is your first and the last day in our Witchy- Witchland. We pity you and have collectively decided to offer you as a sacrifice to Medusa, who is considered as the wildest witch amongst all. Before leaving for the dinner, they held off Leah’s hands and legs with an electric-chain and electrocuted her and poured an itchy powder into her eyes. Once again Leah started missing her family and regretted about her decision. Amid all this, her talisman fell off and she thought it was a bad omen. To the contrary, her talisman was being caught by a luck dove. On the very next day, Leah found herself being surrounded by cannibals who were, again and again, chanting “Shring bring sarvaling, bhoot bhavishya vartmaan badling” and again she went to an unconscious state. When Medusa entered the Gitok area (the sacrificing area of the Witchland), she was being attacked by the cannibals. And when the witches came to safeguard Mellisa, they were being poisoned by the flying dragons. In the middle of all this, Ish along with the lucky dove came to the Gitok to rescue her little sister. After a few minutes, Leah heard a voice- “Get up Leah, you are getting late for the office”, from her parents. Yes, you are right- she was dreaming! 😉 In the morning, Leah realized that no matter how much hard tiff she had with her sis, Ish will always be there to extricate her (even in her dreams). Also, she appreciated the right timings of her parents in awakening and enlightening her (not only in her dreams but also in real-life situations). Hence, the takeaway from this story is to always listen to the advice of your loved ones. And lastly, there is no shortcut to the ladder of success- instead of taking an elevator, climb the stairs and enjoy your journey in each step.
