One of the most amazing places in Mahajanga , a province of Madagascar, is Antsanitia. It is located at about 62 miles from the chief town. In Madagascar, every name of places has a meaning : for " Antsanitia" , it comes from the combination of some malagasy words that are : « antsa» which means «perfection» and « ny tia » which means « of a lover». So, Antsanitia means a perfection of a lover. In October 2018, we, a team of young adventurers, decided to go discovering this special place. The place was slightly bare : there were only four houses : three houses made with traveller's trees which local people call « falafa » and one wooden house. Also, the road to the place is full of trees. A little away from the town, only few people live there. The place is exposed to the sun, with a sanded ground and a cliff of two miles high with a distance of one mile separate the place from the beach which gives a breathtaking view. It was too hot, so the first task we had to deal with is to find shelter. Unfortunately, no one brought tent so we had to build three tents made with raphia : a big one as a camping tent for young men , a little one as a bathroom and the last one as a restroom. The three « falafa» are reserved for young women and the wooden house has served as a kitchen. After building tents, it is time to think of the chores that await us : generally, cooking and fetching water. Hence, we have been divided into five groups : each group has been planned to deal with all chores for one day. Gently, the local people volunteered to be in charge of cooking so , we could not refuse. Therefore, all we had to do is to fetch water for cooking. Nevertheless, the well is one mile far from the sojourning place , we were so numerous ( about 350 persons) , so, two or three cans of water fetched by a group will not be enough and also, fetching water from morning to evening is tiring. Hence,so as to facilitate the task, all the people cooperated to fetch water by making a long line from the well to the kitchen : so, one person fetches water with a can then passes it hands to hands until it reaches the kitchen : like that, less time is spent. Every morning, we wake up earlier so as not to miss the sunshine. Then, we fetch water together. After being done with fetching water, while waiting for breakfast, the leaders share some useful tips in life and their past experiences. Moreover, after taking breakfast, we fetch water again for lunch and while waiting for lunch, all the people manage themselves to get clean. As meal, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, we always had to eat rice which is a main food of local people, accompanied with delicious fish with different ways of cooking and as dessert, we had mangoes. After lunch, every one runs into the beach and at the beach, the sea is warm but that did not stop the young people from swimming. Also, the leaders organize some games so that the adventure can be funny. First, there was a game which aimed at getting acquainted with each other : young women make a long line and each young man is supposed to introduce himself to each young woman. Secondly, we, the young men, played soccer on the sand with a ball made with sachets. After about 2 hours at the beach, we go back to our sojourning place and make a camping fire, then , we sit around the fire an start sharing cultures : so , some young people teach us their dialects knowing that Malagasy language has 18 dialects ; some sing and some play with guitares. No one stayed cocentrated on smartphone because the atmosphere was pleasant. Also, despite the weakness of the network, all adventurers had happy faces. Finally, the adventure allowed not only to make new friends but also, to have a new experience.
