I didn't expect to find Pakistan

Last year in June, I went to a magical place in Northern Pakistan.I was on my summer vacation and with some friends planned to head towards the mountains and embrace this uniquely beautiful mountainous area.We set off to Gilgit Baltistan from Pakistan at 1:00 am sharp. With sleep in my eyes I took all the necessary things as I had already packed my bags one night before leaving. So our memorable journey started. Our first stay was in abbottabad which is almost four hours away from Islamabad. We stopped there for two hours for breakfast. We had paratha, channey, fried egg and tea. This is a traditional breakfast in Pakistan.Morning in Abbottabad was extremely beautiful and calming. The lush green hills of this area gave a soothing effect to my eyes. There we could easily see the clouds covering the hills and the beautifully built houses on the hill top.I was amazed by these houses and there was a question in my mind that how these people get the construction materials up there as I couldn't see any carpeted road. After travelling for few hours we reached Naran-Kaghan.Did rafting and headed towards a nearby lake after booking a jeep.Naran market was full of tourists from all over the country and I saw people from different countries as well.Almost everything was available at Naran market. In this area we also visited the mesmerising lulusar lake. Chilas few hours drive from Naran-kaghan,was a total opposite. It was a tribal area which was quite dry and barren.Locals seemed pretty conservative and orthodox but hospital. At some places towards Gilgit the road was totally trodden off because of several land slides. On my way,I witnessed so many things that I had never seen before. From beautifully designed huts on the hill tops to fascinating waterfalls and springs everything was just worth seeing. The weather was casting a magic spell on me.It was neither cold nor hot.People were quite simple but hospital.it was 2:00 pm and I was exhausted. One of my friends said that we are just 2 to 3 hours away. And at 4:00 pm we entered Gilgit city.Gilgit city is a small but really convenient city, you can get everything from the local market. We were so tired so we stayed at a local hotel because we had to leave for Ghizer, our next destination. It takes almost 4 to five hours to this place said a local. So we reached the headquarter of Ghizer and from there we went to a village from where we were supposed to start our hike to the "MAGICAL PLACE".We went to a local's house and stayed there. We were told that we are supposed to leave for this place early ,like around 4:00 am.I was super excited and couldn't sleep at night. The had to hike through the mountains, there wasn't any track or any road, there were just rugged mountains and after a 10 hours of strenuous hike we finally reached this place. For a moment I felt like I am in heaven.I was not expecting this place to be such magical and breath taking.Lush green grass fields, crystal clear water ponds, animals like yawks grazing on the grass and flowers which I had never seen in my life before.Locals migrated from plain areas to this place for two months in summers because it was not possible to survive in this place in chillng winters. The flowers here were arranged in a beautiful order and it is said that some supernatural powers like fairies maintain these flowers and water them. This paradise like place between the mountains in a far flung area of Northern Pakistan is a difficult place to reach but I think everyone should go to this place once in their lifetime.
