It all started on 24th December 2019 with a thought of “Building India through Enterprise” with 450+ strangers with similar midset and different particular goals with same aim of social entrepreneurship. It was a 15 day long journey on a train which covered 8,000 kilometres across the length and breath of India. We went on to see how the unsung heroes are working towards devlopment and progress of society as a whole helping less privileged people and working towards preserving environment which has been effected the most in previous decades. Travelling with people from different regions, cultures and countries what really fascinated & moved me was the fact how we all have preconceived notions about each other and it was really refreshing to break all of them & get to know how people from different backgrounds are just dissimilar in terms of the way they look and dress up but basic human wants , desire and mindset is all so common and one thing on which we all bonded was humanity how beautifully it is present in each one of us. From a lady living in a village to a girl living in a metropolitan city might have different way of living, dressing up but at the end of the day all that matter is compassion for each other/Humanity. India is a diverse country travelling through different landscape and experiencing the beauty and calmness that nature provides us with its power of healing ; being brought up in a city , I always had a mindset that there is no better way of living than be progressive which is only possible if you live in the most modern city and keep up with the change but to go and visit a small village in south India (Ganjam , Odisha) and to see the beautiful landscape people living there are experiencing everyday just made me realise how unfortunate we so called “millennials” “modern people” are we are trying to find the balance and peace in the midst of haste life of city but little we know or maybe even after knowing it all our ignorance is not letting us see how people with not so latest gadgets and equipment might be deprived of the new modern technology but their mental peace is not what they have to struggle with. Travelling to 12 states of 7th largest country in the world with the most diverse culture makes you not only enjoy the different mindset and patterns but also makes you respect people for who they are and their believes, It makes you realise the importance of human beings in your life and every soul that you meet , it made me more empathetic and open to world and its offerings. You respect the nature and environment even more once you get to know the importance and its powerful impact. Travel/Journey is not only about the destination but about a lot more of it people living over there, food that they eat, the way they pray, their beliefs tell a lot about that particular place than anything else. I feel most alive in my life when i am travelling to a new place meeting new people and knowing their mindset and life stories it just opens up my heart like nothing else can, maybe thats the reason i love travelling solo because you have plenty of time to indulge with new people and interacting with them. It was one such journey which will always be remembered for being the most distinctive where every day was so new , as you land up in a new destination and ending up interacting with new set of people. “I have nothing to loose and 7.6 billion lives to see” - thats my tiny way of looking at world as a combination of zillion of experiences every second with every breath and not just as 510.1 million Kilometres Square surface area.
