My first Mediation Retreat After staying a few days in the beautiful city Chiangmai im off to a magical place that i dont before. The drive with the mini van took me to a little village. Now I would like to share my experience that i had the last days at the PaPae Mediation Retreat. I had only in the past some short mediation sessions by own. In the beginning of the retreat i was a little scared about how it works for me. Also to be in silence during this time. We started at the first day with morning chanting at 6 am with Venerable Michael Viradhammo. During the day we have like 4-5 hours mediation sessions with the monks. They teach us also in buddishm. I just know a little bit of this religion from my mum. And after the teaching i felt for the first time ever that this religion be a part of me. A part of my family and my roots. Our sessions that we‘ve got were at the river, at the ground, around fire and on the bamboo swing. I started to find my own middle way in me. The fire session in the evening was one of the incredible feeling that i ever had in me. It was a special feeling to see Venerable Michael Viradhammo in front of the Bodhi tree. To be in nature and feel everything around you is so beautiful. You hear so many different noises around you and be so clear in this moment of silence. This feeling getting you closer into your clearness. Be clear and bright. Trust your intuition. These days brought me more clearness. Now i can really start fokussing on myself and about my visions.
