It was my last day in Vietnam, I took the camera and went to tour the city; looking for markets and some points of interest that we had not seen yet ... I shot everything that moved with my camera; that desire to take all those images and sensations with me ... I wanted to capture the essence of the city, do not miss anything ... do not forget anything that we had seen and experienced in Vietnam. We had discovered that the real owners of the street in Vietnam are women; they are the ones who work in the markets; who sell flowers, fruits, meat and fish ... those that go by bicycle or motorcycle, always covered, so that they cannot get the sun and with a mask on to avoid contamination. After touring the old quarter of Hanoi and seeing the neo-Gothic Catholic Cathedral of Saint Joseph, where we met several local bridal couples, who came to do the wedding report accompanied by a professional photographer ... We approached the lake Hoam Kiem, where the turtle tower is located, we passed the red wooden bridge, known as the rising sun bridge, which is a classic in Hanoi; It seems that there is a custom among local youths to take their girlfriends there to ask for their hand. Then we decided to walk back to our hostel with google maps; through shortcuts and streets where it was impossible to cross due to the amount of traffic… and returning to our hostel, we finally found what we had been looking for a long time… a Bia Hoi bar! Where they serve the cheapest draft beer in the world ... I had been looking for a place like this all day ... and it was really full! Bia Hoi bars usually have an outdoor terrace and they are usually full of men sitting on colored plastic stools the size of kindergartens ... I saw three or four stools of those free and said _There!! ... I noticed some strange looks between my colleagues ... _Where are we going to get in? The truth that there was practically no space ... Only those loose stools between the tables and the guy began to make place for us; sweeping the floor between our feet, which was full of napkins, and then he placed a table for us and we were already so happy… there is not a better place as a bar and a beer to socialize… Why are you looking for new friends in the networks social, when the best invention for this has aready invented and it has always been, the bar! So; you only have to sit down and enjoy; The moment to order BIA HOI , to accept the first time and with a smile the invitation of our table neighbors to try the sesame cake and feel grateful and fully integrated into Vietnamese society. And at this point and after so many days contemplating all those precious things that only nature can offer us; the sea, the mountains, the rivers, the caves, the sunsets ... and all those dreamy Vietnamese landscapes that already stay with us forever ... Of all the trips, the best is always people who appear along the way and who are already part of our Vietnamese adventure and I especially loved that moment of happiness in which in a Bia Hoi bar we asked for another round of cake sesame to invite our table neighbors and when the waiter brought them our neighbor got up; He approached us, took our hands in his and smiled. Nothing more was needed ... And all the language and communication barriers, which at many moments of the trip had been a real inconvenience, completely dissaperared!
