Childhood memory of my Lagos

Growing up around one of the most popular streets in Lagos State called Allen Avenue were some of the best times of my youth and I can recall watching all of the popular adventure TV series back then like Famous 5 and Robin Hood with a fond smile. Allen Avenue as it is still called today was like the Las Vegas of America where all the Casinos, Arcades, Burger joints and Restaurants created quite a buzz. There was always somewhere to go, something to do and new adventures to have. Life was so good! Lagos or Eko is also popularly referred to as the City of Aquatic Splendour because of its long shoreline along the Gulf of Guinea. Its many exotic beaches with their lush coconut trees and white sands makes it one of the best tourist destinations in Africa. Lagos also happens to be the largest city in Africa with a population of over 20 million citizens. Its famous and vibrant night life can be compared to many high glitzy cities around the world with all the numerous swanky night clubs, bars, hotels and restaurants. I know there's still more hills and mountains to hike in Nigeria but it won't be fun if I can't go more friends to see the the African Sunset on the Iconic Olumo Rock in Abeokuta.
