I didn't expect to find China

China in My Eyes. On the 28th of August 2018 I travelled to Changsha Hunan Province China. I was given this opportunity to travel to Hunan International business vocational college to study Jewellery in Training course on jewellery making technique’s for African countries which I applied through the DTI (Department of trade and industry). The course was set up in a way that made learning a more lucrative learning environment, were students were able to converse openly to management when problems occurred, making students feel relaxed, Non-threatened and at ease. The facilitators were hands on, on finding solutions on the course, subjects or techniques, therefore learners could easily find information they needed. I was so amazed with the jewellery and the Techniques that I have learnt. Above are the techniques that where learnt: TECHNIQUES LEARNT * Soldering/ Welding * Piercing/ Sawing * Drawing wire * Filligree * Assembling components PIECES MADE > Hallow Earrings > Filligree Earrings > Our own Jewellery designs -I made the Fu jewellery earrings. The 'Fu' symbol has been used as a talisman for good luck since ancient times. The symbol is divided into four parts, referring to the four directions and four elements. I was so inspired. SITE VISITS >> Yuelu Mountain The last time I was here, I chose to ride the cable car to the mount because of the hot day. What’s interesting is that the cables are open for you to see clearly and enjoy the fresh air. The scenery is beautiful. And climbing mountains makes us healthier. You can also pay to take the bus tour. There are many side paths that lead to historic sites along the main road. There are also snack places along the way. Also went up to the couple’s space which I enjoyed most the colourfulness and the friendly street Vendors where you can buy souvenirs. > Orange Isle Cherry and peach flowers a beautiful island in the middle of the city! At this time of the year, the flowers are stunning! Totally worth the visit! You can take the shuttle bus to go to one side of the island, or you can have a beautiful walk! Visited the most inspired Island in Changsha city that have famous statues of Chairman Mao. The Orange Island Park is authentic and made my trip auspicious with unforgettable momentum. The place can be reached through Subway metro. > Meixi Lake Park Lake, fountain during the day and music fountain at night with so many colors, possibility to rent a bike and go around lake, spend time with friends. I had the best time of my life. On the 9th of October this year I went to Fuzhou in Fujian Province. And I also visited Various Cities which are Suzhou City (where I visited the most Famous Wedding Mall), Quanzhou (The Xunpu Village which is known for fishing) and also Shanghai. In Shanghai I went to visit the Huangpu River which was very beautiful and also refreshing. I love China 🇨🇳 CHINA IN MY EYES
