A leap into the unknown Greece

The most entrepreneurial island I have ever known, I learned so much here IOS you take a flight to either Crete, Athens, Santorini and then a boat to IOS... not many people know about this ... it was once a hippie island and full of Ireland, Norwegian, Sweden, Australians ... the hugest secret party island better than Ibiza with the best buzz everyone knows one another and returns each year... each worker comes up with their own ideas of making money... I worked as a “kamaki” which is known as fisherman where a group of us would make friends with people in the daytime and them to party with us... if the bar wasn’t full you’d be fired .. we had the best team and we made it boom... there was also island politics you can’t work somewhere and go into a competition place..... there is far out which is one of the best places on island (like Nikki beach) ... the best celebration is Swedish midsummer which is in June where everyone parties from 9am with a congregation coming down wearing yellow from the village to far out and a huge party. I’ve had friends make silly kissing booths, drag an old boat out into the water and turn it into a bar with hanging ledges for everyone to sit on that you would need to swim out to, I made my balcony into a beach bar on the wonderful cobbled streets, we filled it with sand and parasols and beach chairs and sold shots for a euro for passers by 💶 ....my friends decided up one egg one world and traded an egg for charity up to a sports car, such a wonderful mindset of ideas ..... harmony for dinner is the best to relax it has a Thai feel, it’s halfway up the donkey path to the village you can relax on swing chair and listen to acoustic, karma is also the best to chill in cabanas and have the best stone based pizza with friends... the mentality is just amazing ....party or relax
