Connection of difference

"A leopard had been caught from the road you walked down today and it's the second time in two months" said the postman. I woke up in the morning thinking of this. I checked Google maps just before leaving home, it says that it takes only four hours to reach Malakkapara. But the fact is you need at least five hours just for crossing the jungle. I took the bus from Chalakkudy, and I managed to secure the front seat right next to the driver. By the time we reached Athirappilly Waterfalls, almost all people have gotten out of the bus, and the few people left were tourists and tribals who are living in forests. As we reached at the check post at Vazhachal waterfalls, the face of nature started changing, now onwards it's forest for the rest of five hours. Deers grazing near the road confirmed it. Now the only sound that I can hear is the roaring of our engine, and whenever we stop I can hear Crickets. After five hours of journey through the jungle, we reached Malakkapara. There the postman was waiting for me to get me to the post office to repair the solar hybrid UPS. After repairing the UPS, I was invited by him to stay in his house for the night. He was so kind that he agreed to show me around some tourist spots nearby. Being a border place between Kerala and Tamilnadu, you can see the diversity in the culture of people living here. One thing that surprised me is that two cultures never make two hearts apart. He bought me a tea and fritters. In that small teashop I saw different culture and language united by a glass of tea. I made friends from that teashop by the time I finished that tea. After that I asked the postman whether there is any issue with leopards and elephants then he said "A leopard had been caught from the road you walked down today and it's the second time in two months" Hearing that made me feel amazing that I walked all alone through those ways today. On the third day back to home after visiting Valparai, it was Malakkapara which will never forget. It's way brotherhood that keeps them together.
