Deliblato is a small village settled in a Vojvodina province, in Serbia. Near this village, after which it was named, is the largest sandpit in Europe called Deliblato sands. You will be enchanted by the untouched nature and harmony of pine-scented smells, as you travel there. If you travel in the spring or autumn, you will be charmed by the vibrancy of colors and the liveliness of the fauna and flora. As I speak about flora and fauna you can see here endemic species of plants, like Banat peony, steppe peony, Pančić wormwood, bulrush, and dwarf Russian almond. As far as fauna is concerned, you can run into saker falcon, eastern imperial eagle, lesser spotted eagle, etc. Also, you can come across wolf, deer, roe deer and boar, and this is why this sand land is a hunting area. Various athletes, recreational players, and people who want to relax with the sounds of nature decide to spend .their sports preparations and active vacations right here. Within the facilities located on the so-called Čardak, there are accommodations, a restaurant where you can try Serbian cuisine, sports fields. Through Deliblato Sands are intertwined paths of different lengths. Depending on your mood and fitness, you can choose shorter or longer routes. Special mention track “Koprivić” that leads to the tree of the same name, which is under the protection of UNESCO. I certainly can not forget the track “Vrela” which leads you to a small source of water, which is certainly interesting to see in this kind of environment. On all tracks are viewpoints and benches for rest. When you sit in the middle of the track, where you are surrounded by nature, you will enchant not only by the view but also because of the silence that makes you think you are alone in the world. After a while, the silence is slowly disappearing, and you become aware of the natural world that revolves around you. Another place you should definitely visit is the Swan window. It is settled between the Deliblato sands and the Ram's lake. The name comes from the fact that part of Veliki RIt each year swans inhabit.
