Her voice breaks for a moment, making her wonder of this was the right thing to do. - Thank you.- She stutters. She moves to the side to put her things away, trembling, her hands shaking. She leaves the counter. As she makes her way through the airport she observes everything around her with a sad look on her face. An older woman with long grey hair approaches her and gives her a long hug, they know what comes next. A goodbye, forever. A tear runs through her cheek, but she doesn't break down crying. She keeps it together, gives her a kiss on the cheek and walks away. With a single bag in her hands she keeps walking away without looking back. With a long wait ahead she decides to take one last look at what she's escaping from. She ends up in front of a large window with the perfect view of the city. She cant hold it in any longer as she breaks down into the floor, crying, she lets it all out for she has to stay strong. "This was the right thing" she whispers. She stands up, grabs her bag and passes the airport security. Once inside she grabs herself a cup of coffee. She sits down in one of the tables, opens the cup and inhales the scent of the coffee. This had always gave her a sense of tranquillity. Now, more calm she looks around. A family, three kids, mother, father, walk in front of her. The kids laughing and the parents walking behind them holding hands exited for what awaits them. This makes a thought cross her mind. How did something so beautiful had become a nightmare for her? She always loved traveling, her job had taken her all over the world. But now she was forced to leave. She finishes the cup of coffee and walks away to her gate. She sits down, waiting fo the plane to board. The time passes by slowly. After a long wait the time is finally here. She stands up takes out her passport and her ticket and walks to the counter. Once again she's shaking. Afraid of what's to come. But there is no turning back. Her life there had ended, it was time for a new start in the unknown. She board the plane, takes a seat and looks through the window. Once again the view of the city, even though she'd traveled so much she always liked the feeling of arriving home. But home now was nowhere. The plane takes flight and she falls asleep with tears in her eyes. The flight goes by quickly, without even noticing they have already arrived. A new life awaits her. Though she is not much enthusiastic about this. She gets out of the plane and takes a deep breath of the new place she is to call home. To start a new life in a new country there are a few things one must do, she remembers what he had told her back home. "You get there rip up your passport and take out the new ID I gave you. This is you know, Alicia Galea." With only a few hundred dollars in her pocket she is ready to start her new life and wander into the unknown.
