Fairytale in French Riviera

I didn't expect to find France

The first thing that cames into my mind when someone talked about France was the glaring Eiffel Tower in the city of lights and love... Paris. When I knew the city it was really close to what I thought, but the most beautiful views of France I could ever see were in French Riviera. There you can see from medieval cities to ski stations, not mentioning the beaches made of crystal clear waters and white rocks. When I arrived in Nice, my first surprise was the medieval village of Eze, with your exotic architecture of houses, hotels, restaurants, and castles made of rocks. I felt that I had entered a time machine, and pressed the rewind button just to go back to the medieval times. Just to make it even more perfect, the village is located on a high cliff above sea level on the French Mediterranean. What does it mean? Well... you can see a breathtaking view of a deep blue sea from almost all the city. After a typical French meal with one of the best wines in the world, you can visit the paradisiac beach of Juan-les-Pins and chill enjoying a glass of champagne or just appreciating the beautiful blue waves. Do you prefer to play hard? Perfect: you can drive until Saint Tropez and live unforgettable moments 24 hours per day. Tired of sun and sea? No problem: let´s drive one hour straight to a beautiful ski station. The road is surrounded by stunning mountains and tunnels until reaching the brightening white village of Auron. It´s almost an obligation to try the typical Raclette with wine before taking the telepheric to the station. If it's not enough, you can drive to Monaco, take a drink at the traditional Hotel of Paris, beat some money on Monte Carlo Casino and be aware of the latest fashion trends from the most premium brands in the world. Too fancy? Don´t worry: you can drive 40 minutes and arrive in Ventimiglia, a small city in Italy which held a local market full of cheap stuff: fruits, clothes, foods, all sorts of trendy merchandising directly from.... China. Let's drive a bit more and arrive in Genova. Despite the closeness to France, it's a totally different ambient, from the architecture to the prices, not mentioning the strong accent and notorious pasta. For all the experiences described, I can tell with no doubts that it was the best fourteen days of my life, and I highly recommend visiting French Riviera. It's an experience for a lifetime.
