Well we’ve all had at any point of time imagined our visit to any foreign land to experience different cultures and different people that makes us feel that our world offers different horizons to its people . But what we forget about is our country also has a lot more to offer . So hey I am from India and I now realize why India is “INCREDIBLE INDIA” . So it’s about my travel to Banaras , the city of Shiva or the city of Moksha but i like to call it as a must be included in every person’s bucketlist. Mark Twain said “ Banaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together “ “ Banaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together “ We were three friends travelling to banaras so being super excited already we unpacked our bags in our hostel and started our first day in banaras . Though banaras has small lanes so its quite difficult to hire a rickshaw so mostly we had to travel on our own but I must say it’s the best way to know about a city. So while exploring Banaras we came across small tea stalls serving best tea I ever had in my life only of 10 bucks. W e reached near the most famous ghat of banaras “Dasashwamedh Ghat” it was totally crowded but we can listen chants of ganga aarti all the bells ringing together with thousand’s of people humming with thetune of aarti. Most of our time passed in just roaming around the ghats and just observing its beauty. You can also take a boat ride around all the ghats that is also a real cheap deal by which you can get a 360 degree view of all the ghats . We hired a boat where we saw all the major ghats of banaras one of them is Manikarnika Ghat which is one of the holiest river front here we can also last rites being performed to the adjacent jalasen ghat. The view is just spectacular.
