The thought of traveling of sends me into a frenzy. You never know what’s in store. Each trip that you take is different, no matter how many times you visit new city, state or country. I have not had the opportunity to travel out of the country yet but it is on my bucket list. The furthest that I have traveled is Puerto Rico. I was invited by a friend last minute but it was much needed. It was an offer that I could not refuse. Taking this trip would be a leap into the unknown, because I had no idea how things would work out. This also would be my first time traveling with male companion. I had no idea what to pack or what the weather would be like. All I know is that I could not wait to see what Puerto Rico had to offer. The entire experience in the airport was tiresome but it still did not put a damper on my excitement: . Once I arrived, I met my friend and we hit the streets. Puerto Rico was all that I imaged it would be. The beaches were breath taking and the water was an oasis. The peace of mind that I experienced was just what I need. The people were so welcoming and inviting. Each encounter felt like we had known each other all our lives. Leading up to this trip, my stress levels were at an all time high. At times, God has a way of forcing you to take a leaps into the unknown; which can be scary at times because only he know what’s life has store for you. All in all, traveling is the gateway to peace of mind. Everyone should take a take at least once a year to broaden their horizons and create memories for a lifetime. I went home with a clear mind and ready to tackle what life would throw at me next.
